Application Operations Engineer (APP)

Location: Ciudad de México Modality: Full-time | On-site Salary: $30,000 to $40,000 MXN gross monthly (depending on experience)

Job Description

We are looking for an Application Operations Engineer (APP) with experience in the operation, support, and maintenance of mobile applications and enterprise systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and correct functioning of applications, collaborating with technical teams to ensure operational continuity.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain mobile applications (iOS and Android).
  • Monitor application performance and identify and resolve incidents.
  • Participate in implementations, updates, and application deployments.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and change logs.
  • Provide technical support to users and internal teams.
  • Perform preventive reviews to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with development teams in development, testing, and implementation environments.
  • Drive continuous improvements in operation processes.

Requirements

  • Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Systems, Informatics, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in application operation, APP support, or systems administration.
  • Experience with iOS and Android operating systems.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and application operation best practices.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Knowledge of database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
  • Advanced English is indispensable, as it will be the working language.
  • RHCE, MCSE, AWS, or Azure certifications.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Knowledge of automation with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Knowledge of a programming language such as Python, Java, or Shell.
