Job Description The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating production planning and execution to ensure that production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, on time and according to customer quality requirements. Key responsibilities include: Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities to meet customer delivery schedules.

Manage production work orders, scheduling and workflow across different departments.

Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining required quality and cost targets.

Monitor production capacity, manpower, equipment, materials and resource allocation.

Identify production bottlenecks, delays and quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Work closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics and other departments to resolve production issues.

Monitor production performance, productivity, yield, lead time and other KPIs.

Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and process-efficiency initiatives.

Ensure accurate production and inventory information in the Epicor ERP system .

Monitor material availability and work with Purchasing/ Suppliers to prevent production delays.

Manage production costs, inventory levels and resource utilisation.

Provide regular updates on production status, delivery risks and operational issues to management.

Lead, coach and develop production staff to achieve departmental objectives.

Handle customer or internal escalations relating to production, delivery and quality.

Ensure production activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements and quality standards.

Requirements Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline. Relevant experience in manufacturing, production or semiconductor equipment manufacturing .

Strong experience in production planning and execution.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production control and material flow.

Experience with ERP systems , particularly Epicor , would be an advantage.

Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Able to work independently and take ownership of operational issues.

Hands-on, proactive and detail-oriented approach.

Able to work effectively with cross-functional and multinational teams.

Good understanding of quality, productivity, cost control and delivery requirements.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
