Production Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, organize and lead a team of Production Operators/Technicians to achieve daily manufacturing targets within acceptable quality and safety level Overall supervision of production activities Plan and manage cross training program for Production Operators/Technicians in upgrading individual skills and job knowledge Ensure subordinates carry out necessary check sheets and record sheets before, during and after activities (as required) Enforce shop floor discipline control with good housekeeping and safety at the workplace Ensure risks and gaps in production floor are identified and control measures in placed Lead in productivity improvement projects Able to perform and support any other tasks as instructed by Superior Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in MS Office, Outlook, SAP and good understanding of LEAN concept Effective communication skills in building key relationships with your team and other departments Good problem solving skills Positive working attitude and independent Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Educational/Certification Requirement: Diploma/Degree in any Engineering or its equivalent Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 years working experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing environment Strong leadership skills with proven track record in leading a team of >50 Operators /Technicians Able to commit to 8 hours shift (Day/Night) Work Experience: Preferably with at least 3 years supervising role in contract manufacturing
