Tasks

• Analysis of procurement markets for the assigned purchasing area
• Establishment, support, and further development of suppliers
• Clarification of delivery problems, bottlenecks, and technical issues
• Requesting and evaluating quotations
• Developing decisions for the onboarding of new suppliers
• Evaluating suppliers regarding delivery capability, price, quality, and reliability
• Conducting negotiations during contract design
• Ensuring supplier integration into project processes
• Representing purchasing interests in cross-departmental projects

Job Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, or similar qualification
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing
• Very good knowledge of the ERP system Infor LN and MS-Office applications
• Business fluent English
• Very good technical and economic understanding
• Confident appearance and assertiveness
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Independent and structured way of working
