Supplier Quality Engineer (m/w/d) ULBRICHTS Automotive

ULBRICHTS is an Upper Austrian family business that has achieved market leadership in the two business areas of Protection and Automotive through unique technologies. We are the only ones worldwide to manufacture ballistic protective helmets made of titanium, and one of the few SMEs acting as a Tier-1 throughout Europe.

We are looking for 1 Supplier Quality Engineer (m/w/d) ULBRICHTS Automotive. As an employee in Quality Management, you will act as the interface between suppliers and the company and help to ensure the high quality of our products both during the development process and within the framework of series deliveries.

Your Profile

• Completed technical training in the metal and/or plastics sector

• Experience in Quality Management in the Automotive sector / QM training

• Very good English skills and willingness to travel (30-40%)

• Negotiation skills, assertiveness, teamwork, and strong communication skills

• Auditor training VDA 6.3

Your Tasks

• Implementation of basic quality standards in series production within the framework of customer requirements as well as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001

• Internal and supplier quality inspections, as well as participation in product and VDA 6.3 process audits and external customer audits

• Management of supplier complaints using 5WHY, ISHIKAWA, etc.

• Error evaluation for external lots and initiation of corrective actions

• Steering the APQP process with suppliers

• Monitoring customer requirements and their implementation at the supplier

• Support for complaint management

The monthly minimum gross salary for this position is € 4,500.- (based on full-time employment).

Our collective agreement refers to the Metalltechnischen Industrie.

However, actual remuneration depends on qualification and experience and can therefore be significantly higher.
