We are looking for 1 Cost Engineer (m/f/d) - ULBRICHTS AUTOMOTIVE. As an SME and Tier-1 supplier, we are characterized by technological innovation and reliability. For our successful sales team, we are looking for a Cost Engineer who will make a decisive contribution to our offers for customers such as BMW, Daimler, VW, etc. With technical understanding and an affinity for numbers, you will help us win future orders.

Your Profile

• Completed technical training in the metal or plastics sector (HTL, FH or comparable training)

• Initial experience in technical project management and/or order calculation is desirable

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, commercial interest, and enthusiasm for the Automotive sector

• Good English skills (from B1), other languages are an advantage

• Willingness to learn, collegiality, self-organization, diplomatic assertiveness, and flexibility

Your Tasks

• In this position, you will independently be responsible for our customers' inquiry projects and ensure that all parameters are taken into account in the calculation.

• In doing so, you will also take all technical and commercial requirements into account, and evaluate and question our manufacturing processes. To this end, you will coordinate continuously with our internal departments.

• With regard to price calculation, you will be in close contact with our purchasing department and, if necessary, will also determine the prices of purchased parts and external services yourself.

• You understand the requirements of our customers, summarize the results of your work in a concept, and present this to the customer.

The annual gross salary for this position is € 47,550.- according to the collective agreement of the Metalltechnischen Industrie. However, the actual remuneration depends on qualification and experience and can therefore be significantly higher.
