Your tasks

Reporting to the General Manager and as a member of the management committee, you will drive production on a daily basis, ensuring the continuity and performance of operations.

In this capacity, you will manage the production teams (25 people in 3x8, 5 days/7) whom you unite around common objectives and concrete results.

As a true operational manager, you will reorganize and optimize flows between the different workshops, implement production standards (reproducible processes), and continuous improvement tools such as Lean manufacturing, SMED, and 5S projects.

In this framework, based on the analysis of productivity indicators (OEE, scrap rates, tooling changeover times, etc.), you will propose solutions aimed at technically strengthening the teams and striving toward operational excellence.

As the guarantor of industrial performance and close to field realities, your openness and curiosity of mind will allow you to identify difficulties, define, and implement action plans aimed at improving productivity, yields, lead times, and manufacturing costs.

You will work in close collaboration with the Maintenance and Methods-Process managers while ensuring the development of autonomy, skills, and efficiency within your teams.

Requirements

M/F, Generalist Engineer or Metallurgist, you have significant experience in the operational management of production teams acquired in the metallurgical industry (foundry, forging, rolling, hot or cold stamping, machining, welding) in a small-series production environment.

English is required for contacts with the group.
