ENGLISH AND GERMAN LANGUAGE PROFESSOR

JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: English and German language professor The English and German language professor performs direct teaching and educational work with students in accordance with the educational programs and professional standards of the Učilište. Main tasks and responsibilities:

• planning, preparing, and conducting English and German language classes;
• conducting classes according to valid teaching programs, curricula, and work plans;
• preparation of teaching materials, presentations, exercises, tests, and other educational content;
• adapting teaching content to the level of knowledge, needs, and abilities of the students;
• developing students' language competencies, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing;
• monitoring students' progress and achievements and providing feedback;
• conducting knowledge checks, exams, and other forms of assessment, in accordance with the educational program;
• maintaining prescribed pedagogical and other documentation related to teaching;
• regular recording of conducted classes and student attendance;
• participating in the organization and implementation of exams, knowledge checks, and other educational activities;
• communicating with students and providing professional support in the learning process;
• participating in the development and improvement of teaching programs and educational materials;
• using digital tools, platforms, and modern methods in teaching;
• monitoring modern methods of teaching foreign languages and continuous professional development;
• cooperating with other teachers, professional associates, and the administration of the Učilište;
• participating in professional meetings, educations, seminars, and other activities of the Učilište;
• responsible use of teaching equipment, textbooks, materials, and other resources entrusted to them for work;
• maintaining the confidentiality of data accessed during the performance of duties;
• performing other tasks that by their nature belong to the scope of work of a professor or which the Employer entrusts to them, in accordance with their professional qualifications and job position.

Responsibility: The professor is responsible for the qualitative, conscientious, and timely execution of tasks, the quality of the conducted teaching, the orderly maintenance of prescribed documentation, and a professional relationship with students, the Employer, and colleagues. Requirements for performing the job:

• appropriate professional education and professional qualifications for conducting English and German language classes;
• knowledge of English and German languages at a level appropriate for conducting classes;
• basic knowledge of computer work and the use of digital tools in teaching;
• communication, organizational, and pedagogical competencies;
• responsibility, independence, and a professional attitude towards work.
