IT Business Specialist - Uberaba/MG

In the position of IT Business Specialist, you will be responsible for acting as an interface between the business and IT areas, understanding needs, mapping processes, and structuring technology demands that generate measurable value for the company. The specialist will be the main point of contact for areas, responsible for translating business pains into clear and actionable requirements for developers and systems analysts.

Responsibilities and assignments

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Acting as a point of contact between business areas and the IT team;
• Gathering and documenting functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and process observation;
• Mapping processes (current and future flow) identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities;
• Writing User Stories with clear and sufficient acceptance criteria for the development teams;
• Prioritizing demands with stakeholders, aligning expectations, and communicating trade-offs;
• Monitoring the delivery of solutions, validating if the result meets the original business objective;
• Supporting demand governance, contributing with an impact vs. effort vision in the prioritization committee;
• Proactively identifying opportunities for automation and digitalization of processes.

Requirements and qualifications

To succeed in this position, you need:

Necessary

• Higher Education in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Administration with an IT profile, or related areas;
• Experience in business analysis, requirements, or IT projects, acting integrated with business areas and participating in complete project cycles, from gathering to delivery;
• Gathering, analysis, and documentation of requirements through the creation of User Stories, Epics, and Features;
• BPMN: process modeling;
• Experience with agile methodologies: Scrum and/or Kanban, with practical experience in ceremonies;
• Basic SQL knowledge and notions of BI (Power BI or equivalent) — ability to query data and build simple views to support decisions;
• Experience with ERPs or Integrated Systems;
• General understanding of APIs, integrations, and databases, sufficient to dialogue with developers, not to architect;
• Intermediate English;
• Availability to reside in Uberaba/MG.

Desirable:

• Post-graduation or MBA in Project Management, Digital Transformation, or related areas;
• Experience as a Business Partner in IT;
• Agile Certification (CSM, CSPO) or PMP;
• Experience with process automation (IA, RPA, Power Automate);
• Knowledge of Design Thinking or Service Design;
• Notions of LGPD applied to projects;
• Intermediate Spanish.
