ENERGY ANALYST
Job description
Deliver to us actionable fundamental analytics across European power and gas markets. Analyze and build energy stack models among CWE markets and Nordics, interpretate, and analyze short-term weather ensemble models to identify trading opportunities and risks. Build and maintain trading tools, automated analytics, dashboards. Support trading infrastructure development including ETRM and expansion in new products, daily monitoring of exposures and risks of the desk, trade-level analysis. Grow in 2 years perspective to senior analyst and trader, proposing and executing effective trade ideas with head of the desk. Bring new ideas to improve the desk P&L. Collaborate closely with finance, mid-office, and other business lines.
Requirements
Degree in Science, Energy, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline. Experience in supporting European power and gas trading business. Experience working with energy trading or other areas modelling, using AI and LLM’s would be benefit. Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, ability to work with large datasets. Coding experience in Python, R, C++, or other programming languages. Proficient communication in English. Able to communicate clearly complex tasks. Curious, innovative and entrepreneur mindset, self-starter and able to work with minimal guidance.

Salary
2900-4200 €/mon. gross
The specific salary will be determined individually, taking into account the candidate’s experience, competencies, and suitability for the position.
