Project Manager – Rail Power Systems

Role: Project Manager – Rail Power Systems Duration : Permanent Lead the end-to-end delivery of LTA rail power system projects, including Power SCADA,ETTS, Station Control Cubicles (SCC), PMS, communication networks, and system integration. The role combines strong project management capabilities with sound technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery in terms of safety, quality, schedule, cost, and technical performance.  Key Responsibilities: Manage project execution from design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and handover.  Deliver projects within approved schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.  Provide technical leadership and oversight for Power SCADA, ETTS, SCC, PMS, and related railway power systems.  Review system architecture, engineering deliverables, technical submissions, and interface designs.  Lead FAT, SAT, integrated testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities.  Manage project risks, resources, subcontractors, vendors, and key stakeholders.  Coordinate technical interfaces across power, communications and station systems.  Drive issue resolution, change management, and project recovery plans where required.  Maintain strong customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact for project matters.  Support tendering activities, technical proposals, resource planning, and project strategy.  Requirements  Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.  Mins 5+ years of experience in railway, SCADA, power distribution, automation, or infrastructure projects.  Proven project management experience in LTA or railway system projects.  Strong knowledge of:  Power SCADA and ETTS  Station Control Systems (SCC/PMS)  Industrial Ethernet and communication networks  System integration, testing, and commissioning  Cybersecurity and high-availability architectures  PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an advantage.  Competencies;  Strong leadership and team management skills.  Excellent stakeholder and customer management abilities.
