Java Lead

Your tasks

• Lead the design and development of Java microservices and REST APIs.
• Build and guide React front-end work, including state management and reusable components.
• Run code reviews, set coding standards, and mentor developers.
• Break down requirements, contribute to estimation and sprint planning, and track delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve performance, security and scalability.
• Work with CI/CD, containers and cloud teams to release reliably.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and keep them updated on progress and risks.

Requirements

Must have

• 8+ years of relevant Java development experience, with some time leading or mentoring a team.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot, including Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate and REST API design.
• Hands-on React (hooks, Redux or similar, API integration) on real projects.
• Microservices experience, and SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle or MySQL.
• Git, CI/CD (Jenkins or similar), and Agile or Scrum delivery.

Good to have

• Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or Azure.
• Kafka or other messaging tools.
• TypeScript, and testing with JUnit, Jest or React Testing Library.
• Domain exposure to banking, financial services or insurance.
