Custom Software Engineer/ Computational Design 007

We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to develop and enhance software solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. The role will focus on computational design, geometry processing, automation workflows, and integration with open building information modelling (Open BIM) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and enhance custom software components across various systems and applications.
• Develop solutions using Rhino and Grasshopper with a focus on computational design and automation.
• Develop and maintain software using Python and other relevant technologies.
• Work with IFC/Open BIM standards and process building information models.
• Take ownership of assigned software components, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Analyze complex technical problems and develop practical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to integrate software components effectively.
• Support and guide team members by sharing technical knowledge and development best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and automation workflows.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Hands-on development experience with Rhino / Grasshopper .
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with IFC/Open BIM standards and model processing .
• Strong understanding of software engineering and application development principles.
• Experience in developing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining software solutions.
