AS400 Technical Lead 007

We are seeking an experienced AS400 Technical Lead to support application delivery, enhancement projects, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)activities for critical business applications running on the IBM AS400/iSeries platform. The role involves technical analysis, application development, impact assessment, project implementation, production support coordination, and end-to-end UAT support. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, project managers, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and external vendors. Project Delivery Lead the technical delivery of AS400 application enhancements and projects. Perform impact analysis, effort estimation, and technical solution design. Develop, enhance, and maintain AS400 applications using RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2. Coordinate development activities and support delivery according to project timelines. Support SIT, UAT, production implementation, and post-implementation activities. Manage deployment planning, migration, and post-implementation verification. Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Prepare technical documentation, deployment plans, and application support handover documents. UAT Support Coordinate and support UAT execution with business users. Analyse and troubleshoot UAT defects and production issues. Provide timely fixes and technical support during testing activities. Track defect resolution and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders. Support test data preparation, test environment setup, and validation activities. Ensure test scenarios and business requirements are adequately addressed. Technical Skills 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in IBM AS400/iSeries development and application support . Strong knowledge of: RPGLE SQLRPGLE CLLE DB2/400 Query/400 DDS Subfiles Embedded SQL

Experience with source-code version control and change management processes. Good understanding of batch processing, job scheduling, and system integrations. Experience troubleshooting production issues and performing application performance analysis or tuning. Key Deliverables Timely delivery of application enhancements and technical project activities. Effective resolution of UAT defects and production issues. Accurate technical documentation and deployment artifacts. Stable and well-controlled production implementations. Effective coordination between business, project, development, infrastructure, and support teams.
