Management and Program Analyst

About the Position: This announcement is for a Management and Program Analyst serving Fort Bragg, NC.

Major duties

• Responsible for data analysis for student graduation and failure trends that will allow A company leadership to understand how to continually improve graduation rates and address pitfalls.
• Maintaining involvement with USSOCOM J3X, USASOC G3X, 1SFC GX, USJFKSWCS G3X, and DOT-D to provide feedback on ASOT program and doctrine and POI updates.
• Managing up to an $18 million annual training budget that accounts for training, instructor development, and logistics to support A Company operations, unit training, and course execution.
• Planning and overseeing DoD joint certification and validation for ASOT-C, ASOT-MC, and eventually ORMC.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Maintaining complex training programs by interpreting policy and program requirements, advising leadership, coordinating joint certification and validation activities, analyzing operational and student feedback, and recommending program or curriculum improvements; 2) Administering official training and personnel records in accordance with applicable policies, security requirements, and records-management standards, 3) Managing significant organizational resources by forecasting requirements, developing and monitoring spend plans, analyzing expenditures, prioritizing competing resource needs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities, and 4) Developing and maintaining effective relationships with senior military, joint, interagency, law enforcement, and other organizational partners. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
