TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

You will serve as the Technical Director for the Directorate, Maritime Information Warfare/Fleet Information Warfare Command Pacific (FIWCPAC).

Major duties

• You will be the primary advisor for Information Warfare technology, network operations, cyber, and electronic warfare.
• You will establish strategic partnerships across DOW components, federal agencies, academic institutions, and international allies to align scientific objectives, leverage cross-functional expertise, and accelerate the transition of technologies.
• You will lead teams to shape strategy, implement best practices, and encourage new ideas and process designs.
• You will support new programs and processes, and champion cross-organizational challenges.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading engineering, technical integration, or modernization efforts for multi-service C5ISRT systems, tactical networks, or electromagnetic spectrum capabilities, including electronic warfare, signals intelligence, or tactical communications. Examples of qualifying experience: synchronizing technical architectures, establishing common data standards to enhance information sharing, and developing solutions that protect systems and communications.
