You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the Supply Division, S-4 Department of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.

Major duties

  • You will serve as a Garrison Property advisor and technical expert and oversee branch operations in the absence of the Property Control Officer (PCO).
  • You will use property and procurement systems to manage funding, resolve data discrepancies, and maintain accurate Air Station property records.
  • You will review internal controls, automated data, and processes to identify and correct accounting issues.
  • You will analyze inventory data, including property locations, quantities, and funding balances, to maintain accountability and prevent funding over-obligations.
  • You will assist with investigations involving missing, lost, damaged, or presumed stolen equipment.
  • You will coordinate with customers and technical support personnel to resolve complex issues and provide guidance on property acquisition, accountability, receipt, and turn-in.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing supply, logistics, inventory, or property accountability functions; maintaining records and reviewing supply documentation; identifying and resolving discrepancies; and assisting with the receipt, issue, transfer, inventory, or turn-in of property.
