SUPERVISORY HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Major duties
- You will provide technical housing expertise and assistance to installation Commander/Manager and other installation staff in representing United States Marine Corps (USMC) Command.
- You will be responsible for the accomplishment of broad management functions with the planning, management, administration and implementation of the technical and administrative operations of the housing management programs.
- You will lead in Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) data collection, analyzes data, and reports submission.
- You will review, evaluate, interpret policies and procedures, developing and recommending guidance required to provide sufficient criteria for accomplishment of the mission goals and assignments.
- You will analyze and assess data for a variety of reports pertinent to availability of housing, Military and Civilian personnel, quarterly data on customer service, and Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) annual surveys.
- You will direct the work of housing office employees.
- You will develop and set performance standards for all subordinates, reviews their accomplishments, counsels them on deficiencies, gives advice and instructions on work and administrative matters.
- You will render performance appraisals, and schedules and approves leave.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience conducting housing barracks inspections; administering housing programs; conducting reviews for regulatory compliance; collecting, compiling, and analyzing data and reports; maintaining and updating database information; overseeing housing operations; evaluating financial information and maintenance requirements; and preparing plans and budget reports. Demonstrated ability to supervise employees, delegate tasks effectively.
