HR SPEC (CLASS/RECRUIT)

You will serve as an HR SPEC (CLASS/RECRUIT) in the ADMINISTRATIVE AND RESOURCES DIVISION of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Major duties

• You will provide advice, guidance, and assistance to internal and external customers.
• You will respond to issues independently, researching and resolving problems and issues based on knowledge of functional area and administrative processes.
• You will assist in assessing organizational needs and developing strategies to close gaps, such as succession planning, targeted recruitment, training programs, restructuring, and retention strategies.
• You will provide advice and guidance on implementation of new or revised standards and guides.

Qualifications

GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in the consultation of customers, managers, or personnel on recruitment strategies to fill positions utilizing applicable human resources rules and regulations, information systems, and tools, to complete and track workload. GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Consulting with customers, managers, or personnel on recruitment strategies to fill positions utilizing applicable human resources rules and regulations, information systems, and tools, to complete and track workload and assess organizational needs regarding succession planning and recruitment.
