FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER

You will serve as a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER in the SUPPLY AND SERVICES DIVISION of MCRD ERR PI SC.

Major duties

  • You will perform operator maintenance such as cleaning and changing strainers, draining water from lines or tanks, and lubricating valves and pumps.
  • You will receive and transfer fuel by coupling and uncoupling hoses, closing and opening valves, starting and stopping pumps, monitoring gauges, meters, and filter separators.
  • You will perform required quality control testing.
  • You will requisition, procure, schedule and receive deliveries, and maintain accountability of all ground fuels required to support operations.

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
