ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the Manpower of Reserve Affairs of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Major duties
- You will provide guidance, direction, and training opportunities to the administrative team to ensure proper and timely accomplishment of work.
- You will prepare, justify, and administer the budget for the Division and for the five Branches , including travel, training, supplies , equipment, furniture and contracted services.
- You will consolidate budget requirements, develop pending plans and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effective support.
- You will serve as the division interface for the Defense Travel System (DTS), reviewing and approving travel requests and claims.
- You will assist Branch Heads and other supervisors in developing civilian position descriptions, recruitment strategies, and performance standards.
- You will track and monitor all required individual training requirements for division personnel, ensuring compliance with all mandatory standards.
- You will coordinates annual security briefings and conducts self-inspections to ensure compliance with all regulations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing expertise in developing all aspects of long and short term planning and execution regarding administrative manners such as security, financial, travel, policies and procedures.
