Supervisory Management & Program Analyst
This vacancy is for a GS-0343-14, Supervisory Management & Program Analyst located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, OFFICE OF RESOURCES / ORG ANALYSIS and WORKFORCE MGMT, Commandant (CG-81) in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia. In this role, you will serve as Division Chief for the RESOURCES and PROGRAM SUPPORT DIVISION, Commandant (CG-819).
Major duties
You will serve as a Supervisory Management & Program Analyst and be responsible for setting and adjusting short and long term priorities. Supervising personnel, distribute workload assignments, coordinate division training, Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Assess program effectiveness for the improvement of complex programs. Serve as the expert on long range planning. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of ongoing functions Manage productivity in all areas, monitor problem areas, and implement solutions. Qualifications
Basic Requirements: To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Experience supervising/managing personnel Experience providing advice and guidance to senior program and policy officials in solving complex problems and issues. Experience in making decisions on routine and non-routine work problems and issues.
