Supervisory Training Specialist (Collective Training)
About the Position: This position will serve as a Supervisory Training Specialist (Collective Training), Collective Training Division, Maneuver Support Center (MSCoE) located at Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri. Ft Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.
Major duties
- Review Tables of Organizational Equipment (TOE) documents ensuring mission, manpower and equipment requirements
- Supervise the work of collective training developers.
- Establish workload priorities for collective training.
- Validate annual and long-range training ammunition requirements.
- Provide expert technical advice to training developers.
- Review and approve collective training products.
- Communicate with leadership from the MSCoE and the three proponent schools.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes planning regular work assignments, preparing plans to meet substantial changes in workload, and justifying revisions in staffing levels, work priorities and deadlines; developing information and; review training and doctrinal supporting information required for the design of training documents; AND interviews candidates for key vacant positions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcements.
