About the Position: This is a Military Technician position with the 88th Readiness Division, Reserve Personnel Action Center, located at Fort Lewis, Washington. Major duties
- Research complex pay actions.
- Prepare a wide variety of military personnel actions.
- Maintain military personnel files to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Research and analyze data to identify trends and report the results to management.
- Provide technical advice on establishment and maintenance of military pay accounts ensuring complains with laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance on administrative and military personnel matters.
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures assuring uniform interpretation and application.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Preparing military personnel actions 2) Researching or analyzing pay issues 3) Reviewing incoming regulations 4) Ensuring compliance with rules and 4) Advising on pay and personnel processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
