About the Position:

Serve as a Deputy Director of Production Management at Tobyhanna Army Depot.

Major duties

  • Serve as a Deputy Director of Production Management at Tobyhanna Army Depot, working closely with the Command Group to formulate polices and support informed decision-making on critical policy matters.
  • Provide support to the Command Group on all aspects of the Depots Communication-Electronics -E mission workload.
  • Maintain liaison between Tobyhanna Army Depot and other installations, agencies, and industries in matters pertaining to mission activities.
  • Assure that subordinate supervisors carry out policies effectively to meet management objectives, including those related to labor management relations
  • Analyze program costs and accomplishments across funds, manpower, materials, and equipment to support data-driven resource allocation decisions.
  • Ensure subordinate supervisors achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide project management support for strategic program initiatives to improve execution, accelerate progress, and advance mission priorities.

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:

  • 1) Overseeing, the execution of operation and budgeting programs; AND
  • 2) Evaluating program data to recommend funding adjustments across mission area; AND
  • 3) Developing plans, policies, and/or procedures in support of the organizational mission and objectives;

This definition of specialized experience is at the GS-13 equivalent grade/pay band in the Federal Service.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13) .Must Provide SF-50.
