Supply Management Specialist
About the Position: This position is with the Directorate of Emergency Services located at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Major duties
- Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) systems to plan, forecast, and schedule depot wholesale and sustainability project workflows.
- Review all incoming inventory transaction requests against authorized resources and current expenditures prior to database processing.
- Monitor program and project costs to implement cost-savings and cost-avoidance measures using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
- Verify contractor invoices and percentages of physical completion to validate progress reports and coordinate cost voucher approvals with the Contracting Officer.

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service which includes: demonstrates the clinical, logistical, or administrative capability to support supply program operations. This experience must include executing standardized inventory transactions and reconciliations within automated logistics databases to maintain optimal stock levels and resolve routine warehouse discrepancies; monitoring project milestone schedules and expenditure data to identify potential supply bottlenecks or cost variances for management review; and evaluating contractor performance metrics against established quality assurance guidelines to assist higher-level personnel with contract compliance and procurement administration. OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
