Seasonal Assistant Greenkeeper

Tyrifjord Golfklubb is seeking two experienced greenkeepers for the 2027 season. We are looking for you with relevant education or a minimum of three years of documented experience in the maintenance of golf courses or sports turf. This is a professional position for greenkeepers.

We are looking for an experienced greenkeeper who is professionally interested, reliable, and concerned with quality in their work. You must be able to work independently, take responsibility for your own tasks, and at the same time be a positive and cooperative part of the team.

You are precise and flexible, see what needs to be done, and take initiative when necessary. Good communication in English and a valid driver's license are necessary. Relevant experience and competence within greenkeeping are crucial for the position.

Tasks

You will work as part of our greenkeeper team with daily maintenance and presentation of the golf course. The tasks include mowing and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, semirough and rough, bunker maintenance, hole moving and tee markers, repair of divots, fertilization, topdressing, aeration, seeding, and repair of grass surfaces.

You will also contribute to the operation of irrigation systems and hand watering, as well as daily inspection and cleaning of the golf course's specialized machinery. We expect you to take responsibility for your own tasks, work accurately and efficiently, and contribute actively to maintaining the high standard of the course throughout the season.
