Design Structure Engineer (R&D)

1. Product Design & Development

• Design and develop structures, parts, and product assemblies using 3D CAD software, including the preparation of engineering drawings and BOM.

1. Engineering Analysis & Validation

• Calculate and analyze strength, Tolerance, GD&T, Seal Compression, Material Selection, and support DFMEA analysis to verify design accuracy.

1. Prototype & Product Validation

• Support prototype construction, assembly trials, and analysis of test results such as Performance, Pressure, Leakage, Durability, and Vibration, while performing troubleshooting.

1. Project & Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Suppliers to develop new products, resolve technical issues, and support production through to Mass Production.

1. Engineering Documentation

• Prepare and control engineering documents such as Drawing, BOM, Specification, ECN/ECR, and Design Phase gate standard documents.

1. Continuous Improvement

• Improve designs to enhance quality, reliability, reduce costs, and increase manufacturability using 5W and Kaizen concepts.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or other related fields. At least 3 years of experience in design within the Electrical Appliance / Water Pump / Pressure Washer industry will be specially considered. Proficient in using ZW3D / ZW2D / SolidWorks / AutoCAD/NX. Knowledge of DFMEA, Control Plan, Design Phase gate. Ability to read and interpret Drawing and GD&T well. Skills in Plastic process, Metal process, Machining center will be additionally considered. Understanding of engineering documentation systems (PCN/ECN, BOM, Revision Control). Technical Leadership and ability to work well across teams. Systematic analytical and problem-solving skills. Clear analytical communication and ability to report to executives or international teams (Communicative English level). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Positive attitude towards technological development and new innovations.
