We’re supporting a well-established engineering/manufacturing business that’s looking to bring in someone to take full ownership of their despatch function . It’s a key role within the operation, where what you do genuinely makes a difference day to day. You’ll be leading a small team , managing priorities, and making sure everything leaves site accurately and on time . What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the day-to-day despatch and logistics operation
- Leading and developing a small, hands-on team
- Prioritising workload to meet customer delivery deadlines
- Ensuring orders are picked, packed, and despatched accurately
- Coordinating with production, planning, and external suppliers
- Overseeing stock control, records, and reporting
- Keeping things organised in a fast-paced, changing environment
