*Position Summary*
The Estate Manager is responsible for providing strong, hands-on leadership and operational oversight across all departments at Two Sisters Winery, ensuring a seamless, consistent, and exceptional guest and employee experience throughout the estate. This role leads and supports the managers and teams across Retail, Restaurant, Events, Wine Club, and Maintenance, fostering collaboration, accountability, and clear communication between departments. The Estate Manager is responsible for aligning day-to-day operations with the winery?s service standards, financial objectives, brand vision, and overall business strategy, while ensuring each department operates efficiently and effectively. This position requires a visible and engaged leadership presence, with a focus on developing people, strengthening processes, identifying operational opportunities, resolving challenges, and ensuring the entire estate functions as one cohesive hospitality destination.
*Duties & Responsibilities *
*Guest Experience & Hospitality Operations*
- Ensure all guest-facing areas of the estate, restaurant, tasting room/retail areas, event spaces, patios, parking areas, pathways, washrooms, and surrounding grounds are maintained to exceptional hospitality standards.
- Support the delivery of memorable wine country guest experiences through proactive property management and attention to detail.
- Oversee the teams responsible for the ambiance, cleanliness, curb appeal, and visual presentation of the estate year-round.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns related to the property or facilities.
- Work closely with Restaurant, Retail, Hospitality, and Wine Club teams to ensure the property supports an exceptional guest experience across all points of contact.
- Conduct regular property walks and inspections to identify maintenance, cleanliness, safety, presentation, and guest-experience issues and ensure they are addressed promptly.
*Restaurant, Retail, Events & Wine Club Support*
- Partner closely with the Restaurant, Retail, Events, and Wine Club teams to ensure their operational and property needs are proactively supported.
- Ensure event spaces, vineyards, outdoor venues, and guest facilities are presentation-ready for site tours and client visits.
- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and presentation of spaces used for wine club pickups, member experiences, tastings, promotions, and special programming.
- Partner with Sales and Events teams to prepare the property for estate events, private events, VIP experiences, and other special programming.
- Coordinate property requirements for events, including furniture, outdoor spaces, lighting, signage, access routes, waste management, washrooms, parking, utilities.
- Ensure appropriate transitions between tours, events, restaurant operations, retail activities, and other uses of shared estate spaces so that areas are clearly communicated as available or restricted as required.
*Property & Estate Management*
- Oversee the daily maintenance and upkeep of vineyard estate buildings, tasting areas, outdoor venues, parking areas, and grounds.
- Coordinate seasonal property preparation including patios, gardens, pathways, outdoor furniture, irrigation systems, and snow removal.
- Oversee the Maintenance team to lead preventative maintenance initiatives to minimize operational disruptions during peak tourism and event seasons.
- Ensure all property infrastructure, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems are functioning efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with vineyard and winery operations to support the overall estate environment and appearance.
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for critical property systems and equipment, ensuring servicing is completed before peak operating and event periods wherever possible.
