Medical Laboratory Scientist
Responsibilities:
Use and maintain advanced instruments like microscopes, cell counters, and automated analyzers, ensuring accuracy. Implement strict quality control procedures to guarantee reliable results. Report critical findings promptly and accurately to physicians and healthcare teams. Evaluate and implement new testing procedures and technologies. Conduct tests in areas like chemistry (glucose, electrolytes), hematology (blood cells), microbiology (infections), immunology, and blood banking (transfusions). Evaluate test results, identify abnormalities, and determine the significance of findings for diagnosis and treatment.
Requirements:
Proficiency in using office equipment, such as computers, phones, and other basic office equipment, is often required Minimum of B.Sc in Medical Lab Science with current registration and practicing license from the Medical and Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
