Conduct initial, periodic and surveillance inspections of manufacturing facilities under applicable Product Listing and certification schemes.
Assess manufacturing processes, production controls, quality systems and product conformity against applicable standards and certification requirements.
Review technical documents including test reports, product specifications, drawings and quality records during factory and site inspections.
Conduct product sampling and coordinate samples for testing where required.
Identify and document non-conformities, evaluate corrective actions and follow up on closure.
Prepare clear, accurate and timely inspection reports and supporting records.
Monitor surveillance schedules to ensure inspections are completed within the required certification cycle.
Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and internal teams on inspection requirements and technical findings.
Support continuous improvement and digitalisation of inspection processes.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Building & Construction, Materials Science or a related technical discipline.
Relevant experience in product inspection, testing, certification, quality assurance, manufacturing or conformity assessment.
Experience with Product Listing, product certification or regulatory certification schemes is advantageous.
Good understanding of technical standards, manufacturing processes, quality systems and product conformity.
Able to interpret technical drawings, product specifications and test reports.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and sound technical judgement.
Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
Willing to travel locally and overseas for factory inspections.
