Social Media & Content Marketing Executive TutorJohn Learning Centre is looking for a creative, hands-on and reliable Social Media & Content Marketing Executive to manage and grow our social media presence. We are looking for someone who can do more than just edit videos. You should be comfortable managing social media pages, coming up with content and campaign ideas, creating engaging videos and posts, and understanding what appeals to students and parents . This is a hands-on role with a flexible work schedule . We value creativity, initiative and results more than simply being at a desk for fixed hours. Key Responsibilities Manage TutorJohn’s social media pages, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
Plan and maintain a consistent social media content calendar
Develop creative social media campaigns, content series and promotional ideas
Create content that appeals to our key audiences — students and parents
Film and edit short-form videos, including Reels and TikToks
Turn classroom activities, tutor personalities, student experiences and educational topics into engaging social media content
Create promotional content for programmes, workshops, enrolment campaigns and centre activities
Write engaging captions, hooks and simple marketing copy
Monitor content performance and identify which topics, formats and campaigns perform well
Keep up with social media trends and adapt suitable trends for the education industry
Work with tutors and the centre team to generate new content ideas
Help develop TutorJohn’s overall online presence and brand identity
Manage multiple pieces of content efficiently while meeting agreed deadlines
What We Are Looking For Experience managing social media accounts or creating content for a brand or business
Able to independently come up with campaign concepts and content ideas , rather than relying entirely on instructions
Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
Strong understanding of short-form content, hooks, storytelling and audience engagement
Able to edit short-form videos using CapCut, CapCut Pro or similar software
Comfortable filming and creating content when required
Able to work independently and take ownership of social media projects
Organised, responsive and reliable with deadlines
Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions
Good understanding of branding and maintaining a consistent social media style
Preferred Experience Candidates with previous experience creating content or managing social media for businesses targeting students, parents or families will have an advantage. Experience in any of the following would be particularly relevant: Tuition or enrichment centres
Commercial schools or education businesses
Music, dance or art schools
Childcare or student-care centres
Educational programmes or student-focused brands
Businesses where parents are a key decision-making audience
Formal qualifications are less important to us than your portfolio, creativity, understanding of social media and ability to execute ideas well . Working Arrangement This role offers a flexible work schedule . Our centres generally operate during: Weekdays: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM Weekends: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Your exact working days and hours can be discussed based on content requirements, filming schedules, campaigns and centre activities.
