Safety Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Lead and manage incident investigations , identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Provide expert guidance and safety training to all employees, fostering a strong safety-first mindset. Monitor and ensure compliance with all local and international safety regulations and standards. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to integrate safety best practices into all project phases. Prepare and maintain detailed safety reports and documentation. Skills & Technologies: Proficiency in Safety Management Systems and best practices. Strong understanding of Engineering principles as they relate to workplace safety. Expertise in HSE regulations and standards . Demonstrated ability in Risk Assessment and mitigation strategies. Experience with Compliance Auditing and corrective action planning. Skilled in Incident Investigation and reporting. Knowledge of Environmental Management practices. Familiarity with Quality Control processes. Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications to Ignite Your Career: Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in an HSE or Safety Supervisor role, preferably within an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Skills & Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in: Safety Management principles and practices. A solid foundation in Engineering safety applications. Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and standards . Strong capabilities in Risk Assessment and hazard identification. Proven track record in Compliance Auditing and corrective action implementation. Expertise in effective Incident Investigation techniques. Understanding of Environmental Management systems. Experience with Quality Control methodologies. Excellent Communication and presentation skills. Strong Leadership qualities and ability to influence a safety-first culture.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is highly desirable, or equivalent practical experience and certifications.
