Tasks

• Technical evaluation of rail vehicles according to BOStrab or international standards/guidelines
• Participation in the preparation of offers (technical content and price calculation)
• Technical and commercial contract negotiations with customers
• Substantive, organizational, and commercial responsibility for the projects to be managed
• Technical leadership of project employees
• Maintenance and further development of knowledge regarding relevant regulations and approval processes in the field of BOStrab or according to international specifications
• Maintaining and expanding contacts with operators, manufacturers, and involved authorities

Qualifications

• Master/Diploma Engineer in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Rail Vehicle Technology
• Experience in the field of BOStrab and Urban Rail
• Knowledge of approval processes for rail vehicles and knowledge of standards within the scope of BOStrab or in an international context
• Experience in managing medium-sized projects
• Strong teamwork skills
• Conscientious working style, initiative, high commitment, and temporal flexibility
• Sociable and confident appearance
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Willingness for occasional multi-day business trips (Germany/Europe)
• Very good MS-Office skills as well as knowledge in using project management tools
