Become part of our Data Strategy and Management team as a Product Owner (m/f/d) and actively help shape the data base of TÜV SÜD. In this role, you will develop, implement, and manage data-driven use cases and ensure that they are scalable, secure, and efficient. At the same time, you will enable sound, data-based business decisions.
Tasks
- Advising business departments on data-driven opportunities and solutions to optimize business processes, decision-making, and growth
- Conception of end-to-end data solutions for business use cases, from data connection through transformation to scalable data products
- Maintenance and documentation of central data objects such as data models, data streams, data field definitions, and critical dependencies between data sources
- Close cooperation with business and technical teams to translate requirements into value-adding and actionable deliverables
- Support in project management, stakeholder communication, and documentation of project progress
- Creation and maintenance of relevant project documentation and support for the administration of the data platform
Qualifications
- At least three years of professional experience in product management or in a software development environment, for example as a Business Analyst or in a comparable position with a direct connection to product development
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or comparable management platforms, including backlog management and implementation tracking
- Initial practical experience with data analysis or data management solutions is an advantage
- Ability to work at both a conceptual and detailed level and to translate functional requirements into clearly structured and actionable technical solutions
- Strong ability to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable data solutions that enable data-driven decisions
- Very good moderation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to lead discussions and drive decisions in cross-functional teams
- Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
