Tasks
Revenue and Market Responsibility
- Strategic and sustainable expansion of the market position as well as ensuring the profitable growth of the Business Line
- Development and implementation of measures to achieve defined revenue, earnings, and market goals
- Further development and implementation of the company and Business Line strategy
- Steering and promoting cooperation among all companies, partners, and relevant stakeholders
- Building, maintaining, and strategically developing long-term customer relationships, especially with key customers and franchise partners
- Supporting top franchise partners as well as responsibility for acquiring, developing, and retaining new franchise partners
- Implementation of strategic corporate decisions as well as deriving and implementing necessary measures to achieve goals.
- Steering complaint and escalation management for business-critical customer and partner concerns.
- Prioritizing cross-market customer projects and orders, taking into account economic and strategic objectives.
- Overall responsibility for the quality of service delivery within the Business Line.
- Regular reporting of business development, key performance indicators, and strategic initiatives to the Head of Retail
Responsibility for Results
- Overall responsibility for revenue, results, and profitability of the Business Line
- Creation and management of budget, investment, and measure planning
- Ongoing analysis of relevant performance and financial key figures as well as derivation of suitable control measures
- Ensuring goal achievement regarding revenue, results, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Identification of opportunities and risks as well as implementation of suitable measures for sustainable business development
Leadership and Personnel Responsibility
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of assigned managers as well as other directly reporting employees.
- Responsibility for strategic personnel and organizational development within the Business Line
- Ensuring cross-market resource and capacity planning
- Promotion and further development of managers and employees, including succession planning
- Initiating and steering cross-departmental qualification and development measures
- Coaching and supporting managers in technical, organizational, and personnel-related matters.
- Promoting a performance-oriented, customer-focused, and appreciative corporate culture
- Accompanying change and transformation processes within the Business Line
Qualification
- Successfully completed university or technical college degree, preferably in the fields of business administration, engineering, or a comparable discipline
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in a management function with comprehensive revenue and earnings responsibility, ideally in the service industry
- Proven success in the strategic steering and further development of larger organizational units
- Very good business understanding as well as sound knowledge in budget planning, performance management, and corporate management
- Very good knowledge of the services and business models within the Division Mobility or comparable industries
- Several years of experience in leading, motivating, and developing managers and employees
- Strong communication, negotiation, and assertiveness skills
- Outstanding abilities in building and maintaining sustainable customer and partner relationships
- High degree of customer and service orientation as well as strong result orientation
- Entrepreneurial thinking and action combined with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Experience in change management as well as in the further development of organizations and corporate cultures
- Good English skills in speaking and writing
Further Information
The Business Line Retail North-West includes several market areas extending from western Lower Saxony, through North Rhine-Westphalia to Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. For the successful performance of the activity, appropriate willingness to travel within the Business Line is required. Of course, we will provide you with a company car for this purpose.
