In our team, you will work with other experts and specialists to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical networks in industry. In this role, you will evaluate the safety and function of power supply systems and support manufacturers or operators in the creation of protection concepts. You will analyze complex damage cases and malfunctions and prepare corresponding expert reports, including concrete remedial measures.
Your tasks focus on:
- Metrological and theoretical analyses in electrical networks
- Reviewing as well as creating protection concepts in low- and medium-voltage networks in industrial and commercial plants
- Reviewing and performing selectivity analyses
- Reviewing and creating lightning protection concepts
- Analyses of line- and non-line-bound faults as well as determination of fault causes
- Evaluation of complex emergency power systems
- Completed studies in the field of Elektrotechnik with a focus on energy or protection technology
- Professional experience in the planning and construction of power supply systems is an advantage
- Knowledge in the field of theoretical network calculation (DIgSILENT PowerFactory) is an advantage
- Willingness to take responsibility and reliability, even under difficult or time-critical conditions
- Confident appearance, pragmatism, as well as good communication and assertiveness - customer-oriented working
- Enjoyment of traveling (approx. 30% travel activity)
- Good English skills in speaking and writing
- Routine handling of MS Office applications
