You will support the testing and evaluation of biometric systems and other state-of-the-art IT security products independently within a team. You will strengthen one of the world's leading testing bodies for IT security with renowned national and international customers regarding topics such as Biometrics, Energiewende, Cryptography, eHealth, Automotive, Space, and more. You will take over the analysis of product security architectures as well as the derivation of attack vectors. You will develop creative tests for biometric systems, such as presentation and injection attacks, and deal with new vulnerabilities. You will work together with authorities and associations as well as with interesting customers on future topics.
University degree in an MINT subject (M. Sc. or PhD), as a career starter (Junior) or with professional experience (Senior) Interest in topics surrounding the (un)security of IT products as well as a fundamental understanding of IT security Enjoyment in the creation and optimization of attack instruments such as artificial fingers, 3D face masks, or Deepfakes Ideally knowledge in the field of biometric systems, presentation attacks, injection attacks, and biometric standards such as ISO/IEC 19795 and ISO/IEC 30107, as well as experience in the development of image processing software Joy of communication in a team environment and very good English skills in speaking and writing Analytical understanding, interest in new topics, and motivation for further training
