industrial painter
A Painter applies primer and topcoat to parts in readiness for assembly or customers.

*Duties/Responsibilities*
- follow instructions given by supervisors/managers
- make sure parts are clean/prepared prior to painting
- ensure that proper colour is being used for parts
- push parts or have parts pushed into the paint booth and efficiently arrange for painting
- apply primer and topcoat
- make sure that paint evenly and fully covers parts
- push parts of have parts pushed out of paint booth
- keep work area neat and organized
- keep equipment operational and maintained
- change paint as necessary
- clean/maintain paint booth (i.e. change filters, clean lights, etc.)
- keep paint kitchen/storage clean and make sure all paint is in spill tray and grounded
- always work safely, follow safety protocols, and wear proper personal protective equipment
- cooperate with quality control when parts need to be corrected or reworked
- alert supervisor if equipment is not functioning correctly of if there is a potential safety hazard
- alert supervisor if there is a possible issue with a part
- other duties as required by supervisor or manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44.0 ? 55.0 per week

Experience:
- Industrial Painting: 1 year (preferred)
