Job Summary
TTC Group is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and launch of a major new SaaS platform.
This is a pivotal role that will sit as a key member of the project team and take ownership of the marketing workstream for the launch. The successful candidate will report to the Marketing Director who will translate this launch into an effective marketing strategy and launch plan and on a day-to-day basis will work intrinsically with the CRO, who owns the go-to-market strategy and alongside the Project Manager leading this product launch.
Working closely with our in-house Marketing team and lead external agency, you will ensure TCC Group retains strong internal ownership of the marketing activity associated with the launch, ensuring the right plans, campaigns, content, channels and communications are in place to successfully take the platform to market.
Following launch, you will be responsible for ensuring the marketing approach, knowledge, assets and ongoing activity are fully embedded within the TTC’s in-house marketing function before transitioning into the marketing team and business as usual. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who will stay on this journey and own the product marketing on a permanent basis, but we are open to a consultancy contract arrangement.
Working closely with Agencies, Tech, MO, Sales, Operations and Marketing you'll play a pivotal role in bringing a new product to market and establishing it as a market-leading solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the marketing strategy for a major new SaaS platform aligned to the wider go-to-market and commercial strategy owned by the CRO.
- Translate commercial priorities, target sectors and launch phases into a clear marketing roadmap covering pre-launch, launch, post launch and ongoing activity into BAU.
- Act as the internal marketing lead within the project team, ensuring marketing considerations, requirements, dependencies and opportunities are represented throughout the programme.
- Work intrinsically with agencies, and in-house marketing to develop and execute an integrated launch plan across multiple channels including brand, PR, digital, content, events, social, email, paid media and thought leadership.
- Lead and manage agency relationships for the launch, setting clear briefs, challenging recommendations and ensuring external partners deliver against TTC’s strategic objectives, timelines, budget and agreed outcomes. At all times TTC should retain ownership of the marketing strategy to develop the internal knowledge required to manage ongoing activity post-launch.
- Work with Head of Sales, Brand MDs to professionalise sales enablement materials including sales decks, product guides, video, demos and FAQs.
- Develop sector specific customer case studies, proof points, testimonials and thought leadership content that demonstrate customer value and strengthen credibility
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of go-to-market initiatives and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. Develop and lead the transition of launch marketing into BAU, ensuring processes, knowledge and campaign plans are successfully embedded within TTC’s in-house Marketing function; to which you would plan a critical role.
Skills & Competencies
- An inclusive, motivated self-starter who enjoys working across functions.
- Experience launching B2B and / or SaaS products into new markets.
- Experience within technology, automotive, insurance or enterprise software sectors.
- Knowledge of customer segmentation, buyer personas and account-based marketing (ABM).
- Significant experience leading the marketing workstream for a significant product, service or business launch
- Strong experience working with and managing external marketing agencies.
- Ability to translate wider go-to-market strategies into actionable marketing strategies and plans.
- Experience supporting product-led growth (PLG) or sales-led growth strategies.
- Understanding of SaaS business models, subscription and recurring revenue metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV and product adoption).
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms ideally HubSpot.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with experience co-ordinating multiple stakeholders and workstreams against critical launch deadlines.
- Experience using product analytics and reporting tools such as GA4 or Power BI.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing channels, SEO, paid media and content marketing with a view to supporting external agencies
