Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Finance Manager:
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the Finance team to drive high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial reporting, and management accounts to support effective business planning and decision-making.
- Analyse financial performance, cash flow, profitability, and key financial indicators, and provide strategic recommendations to Management on cost optimisation and business growth.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures while driving process improvements and finance digitalisation initiatives.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow planning, banking facilities, financing arrangements, and working capital management.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), statutory regulations, tax requirements, corporate governance, and applicable ISO standards.
- Coordinate annual audits, tax matters, statutory reporting, and regulatory filings to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, government agencies, suppliers, customers, and other relevant stakeholders on finance-related matters.
- Support strategic business transformation, financing projects, and other initiatives undertaken by Management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Chartered Accountant qualification and membership with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) is required.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, and audit, including at least 3 years of audit experience and 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, corporate governance, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Hands-on experience in budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting systems and ERP software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Jet Reports will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and develop a high-performing Finance team.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a strong commercial and business partnering mindset.
- Sound decision-making skills with the ability to provide strategic financial recommendations to Management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Meticulous, organised, and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong planning, organisational, and project management skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, confidentiality, and ethical business practices.
Additional Information:
Salary: Up to SGD 7,000 +VB (2 Months) Working Location: Tuas Crescent Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Mon-Fri: 8:30am-5:30pm
