Audio Quality Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities Review recorded audio files for technical quality and compliance with project requirements.

Analyze recordings for:

Noise floor

Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)

RMS levels

LUFS / loudness

Peak levels

Clipping and distortion

Frequency spectrum

Verify that recordings meet the required technical specifications:

48 kHz sample rate

24-bit depth

Mono WAV format

Identify technical issues and flag recordings that do not meet the required quality standards.

Perform detailed audio analysis using Adobe Audition.

Verify the quality, completeness, and duration of processed recording hours.

Maintain accurate QC records and quality reports.

Track and report recurring technical issues or patterns affecting recording quality.

Approve compliant recording hours for further processing and delivery to the client.

Process audio based on the actual volume of recordings received.

Key Requirements Hands-on experience with Adobe Audition.

Practical experience in professional audio recording, editing, or quality control.

Strong understanding of audio technical parameters and quality standards.

Ability to analyze and interpret:

RMS

LUFS

SNR

Peak levels

Frequency spectrum

Noise floor

Clipping

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work with strict technical specifications and quality criteria.

Good organizational skills and ability to maintain clear QC records.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Comfortable working with varying volumes of audio depending on project needs.
