Key Responsibilities

  1. Operations & Service Delivery

Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations across assigned sites.

Ensure all cleaning tasks are carried out according to agreed schedules, SOPs, and service levels.

Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

Plan and deploy manpower effectively to meet operational requirements.

  1. Team Supervision & Training

Lead, motivate, and supervise cleaning staff, including assigning duties and monitoring attendance.

Provide on-the-job training and coaching on cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety practices.

Enforce discipline, grooming standards, and workplace conduct.

Identify training needs and recommend staff for further skills development.

  1. Quality Control & Reporting

Carry out routine inspections and record inspection results.

Follow up on rectification of defects and service lapses promptly.

Prepare daily/weekly reports on manpower deployment, attendance, and service performance.

Monitor consumption of cleaning materials and request replenishment when necessary.

  1. Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the main on-site point of contact for clients regarding cleaning services.

Handle client feedback, complaints, and service requests professionally and promptly.

Participate in regular site meetings and service review sessions with clients and management.

  1. Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

Ensure compliance with WSH, NEA, and company safety policies.

Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for cleaning staff.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses.

  1. Equipment & Inventory Management

Ensure proper use, maintenance, and safekeeping of cleaning equipment and machines.

Monitor inventory levels of consumables and equipment.

Report equipment faults and arrange for repairs or replacements.

Job Requirements Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / Secondary education or equivalent.

At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in cleaning or facility management operations, with supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, machinery, and safety practices.

Familiar with WSH requirements , safe chemical handling, and workplace safety procedures.

Able to communicate effectively with workers, clients, and management.

Physically fit and willing to perform site inspections and hands-on supervision.
