Project Manager Digitalization & AI (m/f/d)

What this role is about:

You combine technology with economic efficiency, identify optimization potential, and bring projects to completion — pragmatically, solution-oriented, and with a high degree of personal responsibility.

In this role, you will work on topics such as:

• AI strategies and digital processes.
• Automation and process optimization.
• SAP-supported business processes.
• Software projects.

In short: You shape structures instead of just managing existing processes.

Your tasks:

• Actively help shape the digital further development of the company.
• Identify AI and automation potential and put it into practice.
• Analyze, improve, and automate business processes.
• Further develop our SAP system landscape (S/4HANA, BW, B1).
• Create business cases as well as cost-benefit analyses.
• Successfully implement projects regarding time, budget, and resources.
• Coordinate and manage external service providers.
• Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate offers.
• Report results, KPIs, and project progress directly to the management.

What you bring to the table:

For us, what matters is a sound understanding of IT systems, software solutions, and process automation, a structured and pragmatic way of working, as well as the ability to drive topics forward independently and implement them successfully. Ideally, you already have experience in several of the mentioned areas of responsibility.

Your profile:

• A completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science with an AI focus, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in project management or in digitalization projects.
• Interest in AI, automation, and digital solutions.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, or SAP Business One is an advantage.
• Analytical thinking and a good understanding of KPIs and economic efficiency.
• A structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Enjoyment in taking on responsibility and driving topics forward independently.
• Strong communication skills and a confident appearance towards internal and external contacts.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.
• Proficient use of MS Office.
