Logistics Team Leader – Leeds

£29,000–£30,000 DOE + Private Healthcare 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Trusted Recruiter is recruiting on behalf of an established organisation within the healthcare and specialist manufacturing sector for a Logistics Team Leader to join its Leeds operation.

This is a hands-on role where you will oversee a small team of three , taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of logistics while working closely with Production and several other departments across the business.

We’re looking for someone who combines good logistics knowledge with strong people skills – someone organised, proactive and, importantly, a good team player .

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting a logistics team of three
• Managing stock, inventory and stock checks
• Purchasing and processing purchase orders
• Goods receipt, storage and despatch
• Ensuring materials are available to support production
• Liaising with suppliers regarding orders and deliveries
• Monitoring Logistics KPIs
• Supporting training, 1-2-1s and team development
• Working closely with other departments across the business
• Maintaining high standards of quality and Health & Safety

About You

You will ideally have experience within logistics, warehousing or manufacturing , along with previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

Experience of stock control, purchasing and goods-in/despatch processes is important. Knowledge of SAP Business One would be advantageous but isn't essential.

Package & Hours

• £29,000–£30,000 , negotiable depending on experience
• Private healthcare
• 25 days' holiday + bank holidays
• Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am–4:00pm
