We are looking for an Import Analyst to work on the complete monitoring of operations, ensuring operational excellence, alignment between areas, and a consultative experience for clients and partners throughout the entire import journey.
Responsibilities and duties
- Manage a client portfolio, ensuring personalized service aligned with commercial guidelines.
- Open and monitor processes in the ERP (Conexos), including interfacing with customs brokers and other stakeholders involved in the import operation.
- Perform documentary verification and administrative handling of products.
- Execute international freight quotes and authorize shipments with clients and suppliers.
- Update and send periodic follow-ups to clients.
- Request original documents from exporters and register products/suppliers in the ERP.
- Schedule foreign exchange payments (encomenda or conta própria) and request import simulations.
- Act as a technical reference in processes, aligned with best practices and current legislation.
- Propose operational improvements focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.
- Promote integration between areas through meetings and dealings related to imports.
Requirements and qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed higher education in Comércio Exterior, Logística, Administração, or related fields;
- Experience with import operations, including end-to-end processes and operations via trading;
- Basic to intermediate English.
