HR Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and oversee the Singapore HR team, ensuring effective delivery of day-to-day HR operations and services.
  • Coach, mentor and develop HR team members to build capabilities and enhance overall team performance.
  • Allocate workloads effectively and ensure timely, accurate and high-quality HR service delivery.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and operational excellence within the HR team.

HR Operations & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with the Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations and internal company policies.
  • Oversee payroll governance, HR administration and end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.
  • Develop, review and maintain HR policies, SOPs and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external HR audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.

HR Systems & Process Excellence

  • Own and oversee Oracle HCM governance, ensuring system effectiveness, data integrity and continuous improvement.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Oracle HCM enhancements, system upgrades and new functionalities.
  • Drive HR automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity and timely reporting of HR data and workforce information.
  • Partner with Corporate HRIS teams on system enhancements, implementation and process optimisation.

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Serve as an HR Business Partner to assigned client groups, providing strategic and operational HR support.
  • Advise business leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, talent strategies and people-related matters.
  • Support organisational change, restructuring and business transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align HR strategies with business objectives and workforce requirements.

Employee Relations & Risk Management

  • Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, investigations and sensitive HR cases.
  • Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary matters, performance management and appropriate employee actions.
  • Coach managers on handling challenging people situations and resolving workplace issues effectively.
  • Act as an escalation point for sensitive and high-risk employee relations matters.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Lead and coordinate annual performance management and talent review processes.
  • Facilitate succession planning and identify critical talent and key roles within the organisation.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Compensation teams on recruitment, talent and reward-related decisions.
  • Identify organisational capability gaps and recommend appropriate talent development and learning solutions.

Workforce Analytics

  • Monitor and analyse key HR metrics, including attrition, absenteeism, headcount, hiring effectiveness, overtime trends, new-hire turnover and retention.
  • Translate workforce data into meaningful insights and recommendations to support business and people decisions.
  • Present workforce trends, key findings and recommended actions to senior leadership.

Leadership & Capability Development

  • Develop and mentor HR team members to strengthen functional expertise and leadership capabilities.
  • Build a high-performing HR team through structured coaching, development and knowledge sharing.
  • Establish and support succession planning within the HR function.
  • Foster strong collaboration across HR and business functions to deliver integrated people solutions.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Lead the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, including employee appreciation, wellness activities and recognition programmes.
  • Drive employee participation in Core Values Survey initiatives and facilitate appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Partner with business leaders to strengthen organisational culture, employee engagement and overall employee experience.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • IHRP-CP or IHRP-SP certification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is essential , preferably within a high-volume and fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, particularly Oracle HCM, and a proven track record in HR process improvement or system enhancement will be an advantage.
