Design Manager (Electrical / Construction) AL70

Job Scope:

Oversees the complete electrical engineering design lifecycle, managing technical teams, and ensuring all building or industrial services comply with safety codes and project budgets

Lead the electrical design team in creating single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic layouts, and technical specifications for power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage (ELV) systems

Oversee project scheduling, resourcing, budgets, and deliverables from the conceptual stage through detailed design and on-site execution

Review designs to find cost-saving options and improve "constructability" without reducing safety or performance

Multidisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate electrical packages with mechanical, fire safety, architectural, and structural teams

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all system designs meet local electrical codes and standards

Requirement:

Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: More than 5 years of relevant design and project management experience in an engineering consultancy or LTA Project.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in BIM/Revit platforms, and electrical power calculation software.
