Responsibilities Conduct face-to-face outreach by walking door-to-door within assigned neighborhoods to introduce our programs and services. Engage in conversational interactions with residents to inform, educate, and motivate participation or donations. Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, update contact information, and track progress efficiently. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to negotiate and address questions or concerns from community members. Promote community engagement efforts through friendly, respectful dialogue tailored to diverse audiences. Manage outdoor work independently while maintaining safety protocols and adhering to schedules. Assist in fundraising campaigns or community initiatives by encouraging support and participation. Requirements Prior experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor community outreach is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage people face-to-face confidently. Bilingual abilities are a plus for reaching diverse populations effectively. Demonstrated experience in customer service or community engagement roles. Comfortable walking for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Familiarity with mobile devices for data entry and communication purposes. Proven ability to negotiate, persuade, and build rapport quickly with strangers. Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team.
